# M09 project report

## 1. Engineering question

State the design variable, response limits, and why the chosen range is relevant.

## 2. Assumptions and units

Document geometry, material behavior, boundary conditions, load distribution, mesh strategy, and the coherent unit system.

## 3. Sweep results

Attach `m09_results.csv`. Explain the trend in tip displacement and stress as beam height increases.

## 4. Validation and decision

Distinguish `validation_pass` from `feasible`. Report `selected_case` and `selected_h`, and explain why the selected design is the smallest acceptable one.

## 5. Limitations

Identify at least one idealization, one numerical limitation, and one check required before a real design decision.

## 6. Next improvement

Propose one controlled extension without changing the machine-readable contract.
